LockHunter

Sometimes, your computer displays a “File in use” message when you try to delete, rename or move a file, even when the file isn’t open in any application. Restarting your computer will usually solve the problem. Another solution is to install LockHunter, a simple, free tool that retrieves files hijacked by your computer.

LockHunter is added to the context menu in Windows File Explorer. To rename, move or delete a blocked file, simply right click on the file name and unlock the file.
